Code Forty4 Foundation

Supporting and educating first responder families before a crisis hits.

Code Forty4 Foundation is a nonprofit organization created to help first responders and their families recognize struggles earlier, respond with confidence and connect to trusted support before they reach a crisis.

Seven lives. Seven years.
One community.

In seven years, our local law enforcement community experienced seven deaths by suicide.

Seven first responders. Seven families.

And countless coworkers, friends and community members are forever impacted by their loss.

OUR MISSION

Code Forty4 Foundation exists to educate, equip and support first responder families and the communities surrounding them.

We help families:

Recognize. Respond. Support.

OUR VISION

What if support started
before the crisis?

We envision a first responder community where conversations about mental health are normal, families are equipped to recognize when someone is struggling and asking for help is viewed as a sign of strength.

A community where every first responder and every family knows:

Who can I call?
Where can I go?
What can I do?

And no family feels like they have to figure it out alone.

WHAT THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTS

Turning our mission into action.

The Code Forty4 Foundation will focus its resources on programs and initiatives that provide education, connection and access to support for first responders and their families.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CODE FORTY4 & THE FOUNDATION

One mission. Two ways we serve.

Together, they allow us to move from awareness to action.

WHY DONATE?

Your donation helps us reach families before crisis does.

Every gift helps Code Forty4 Foundation continue building education, resources, connections and access to support for first responder families.

You aren't simply supporting an organization.

You are helping build the support system we wish every
family had before they ever needed it.

OUR LEADERSHIP

Code Forty4 Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors committed to responsible stewardship, community collaboration and ensuring that the resources entrusted to the Foundation create meaningful impact for first responders and their families.

Guided by people who believe in the mission.

Help us change what happens before the crisis.

We may never know which conversation, resource, connection or moment of support changes someone's path.

But we believe it's worth making sure it's there.

Recognize. Respond. Support.
