I created Code Forty4 to support spouses and families of law enforcement officers  because too often, we are trying to navigate this life alone.

Spouses are usually the first to see the shifts.

The irritability.
The withdrawal.
The exhaustion that doesn’t make sense.

Yet most of us were never taught what those changes mean or how to respond in a way that actually helps.

About Code Forty 4

Through Code Forty4, my mission is simple:

Help spouses recognize the signs, respond with understanding, and support their loved ones before the line breaks.

I’m not a clinician. I’m not an academic expert.

I’m a spouse who has lived this life, walked through dark seasons, and spent years learning from clinicians, first responder wellness leaders, and families across the country.

I  understand the real-life balancing act of raising a family, managing careers, navigating shift work; and trying to keep a home steady while the person you love faces trauma most people will never see.

Today, through the Code Forty4 podcast, speaking engagements, and educational resources, I help families better understand the mental and emotional impact of law enforcement so they can build stronger, healthier homes behind the badge.

Because when families are equipped, officers are stronger.

And when we start talking openly about the realities of this life, we begin to break the silence that has hurt too many families for too long.

You are not alone in this journey.
